You are never too old! All my life I struggled with weight issues. At the age of 65, I decided to do something positive. I had seen so many adverts for gastric sleeve surgery and the positives that went with that. My concern was my age. I sourced various clinics and surgeons and one stood out more, Mr Andrew Jenkinson. So, in September 2021, I had a consultation with this wonderful consultant and age was not an issue! In October 2021, I had the operation. The care was amazing and now 5 months postop I have never felt better. I sleep well and I listened to every bit of advice from the dietitian, and this has helped me tremendously. Anyone reading this review and in hesitation about ‘what if’, I say make that appointment! Better still, read Mr Jenkinson’s book, you won’t look back! Thank you, Mr Jenkinson and your amazing team, for giving me a great retirement with everything to look forward to.
